New York City culinary school trained, a stint at the Television Food Network, and 25 years of professional event planning for a discriminating clientele at prestigious facilities in Miami, New York, and Central Florida have led me to this venture (adventure!). Organizing weddings has been my specialty and over the course of my career have planned in excess of 300 ceremonies and receptions. In addition, golf tournaments, corporate events, private dinners and celebrations round out the repertoire.
My interest in unprocessed, whole foods, the non-gmo movement and plant based, local, farm to table fare has grown. Two of my personal heros are Alice Waters and Michael Polin who has definitely influenced the drection of my culinary interests. Of course, there is the ever-present Julia.
I believe that a beautiful setting enhances the enjoyment of a meal and in this respect Colin Cowie, Preston Bailey and Carolyne Roehm have been major inspirations. Of course, there is the ever-present Martha.
