When the weather is glorious and crying out for you to enjoy nature's bounty, then we say do it with style! Inexpensive Chinese take-out boxes from the local craft store make convenient and attractive containers. A travel friendly lunch of sliced chicken and Swiss cheese sandwiches on a crusty baguette, green bean and potato salad with vinaigrette dressing, fresh fruit, kettle chips and chocolate chip cookies makes for a satisfying picnic. Our day long outing was during Peony season so we brought some along to enjoy in the incredible natural surroundings.
