Sublime Smoothies

Smoothies are a quick and easy way to get some great nutritional value into your diet and help fill your daily fruit and vegetable quota.  Hydrating after a workout, fiber rich which helps to eliminate toxins and easily digestible vitamins and minerals are all terrific reason to jump on the smoothie bandwagon.  Throw in some anti-inflamatory turmeric or ginger root, add a scoop of good quality plant-based protein, toss in some fresh or frozen organic fruit and you are off to the races.  Don’t forget to throw in a handful of green such as spinach or kale for an extra boost of chlorophyll.
